Ways I Can Support You
Integrative Psychotherapy
Session Rates:
• 55 minutes — $200
• 90 minutes — $300
I offer a holistic and integrative approach to psychotherapy that prioritizes identifying the root of your symptoms rather that just symptom management. In these sessions we will compassionately explore the full ecosystem of your current challenges in order to identify and put into action the necessary shifts that will help you step into a life of greater ease and fulfillment. These sessions are 55-90 minutes long and can be done virtually or in-person.
-
Each session is tailored to your unique needs, weaving together a range of therapeutic approaches to support deep, lasting change. While our work remains responsive to what arises in the moment, it is also guided by a clear treatment plan. This allows for both direction and flexibility, so you have a sense of movement without feeling rushed or forced.
Our work together is collaborative and attuned to your pace. Some sessions may be more exploratory, while others are more structured and skill-based, depending on what is most supportive for you at that time.
In session, we focus on helping you build a more grounded and compassionate relationship with yourself while also working toward meaningful symptom relief. This may include developing practical tools, increasing your capacity to tolerate difficult emotions, and working through patterns that feel stuck or repetitive.
I place a strong emphasis on consent, pacing, and nervous system safety. We move in a way that respects your readiness while also supporting gentle expansion, so change becomes possible without overwhelming your system.
My role is both supportive and active. I will offer guidance, reflections, and tools when helpful, while also creating space for your own insight and inner clarity to emerge. The goal is not for you to rely on therapy indefinitely, but to leave with a deeper sense of trust in yourself and the ability to navigate challenges with greater stability and confidence.
Therapy is not a quick fix, but a process that unfolds over time. For most clients, I recommend beginning with a commitment of 6 to 12 months of weekly or biweekly sessions to allow for meaningful and lasting change. You are always free to end therapy at any point, but having this initial container often supports deeper progress.
Depending on your needs, sessions may include a blend of conversation, experiential work, skill-building, and guided practices. The specific structure will evolve as your process unfolds.
Therapy can be a powerful catalyst for change, but it is also a deeply human process. I am committed to creating a space where all parts of you are welcome, including the parts that feel uncertain, guarded, or overwhelmed. We work with what is present, at a pace your system can integrate.
Sessions are available virtually and in person in Atlanta, GA, and typically range from 55 to 90 minutes.
I work with a range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and relational challenges. You can explore specific areas of focus on the dedicated section of my site.

Ketamine Assisted Therapy
Session Rates:
• 2 hours — $400
• 3 hours — $600
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is an innovative and transformative approach that combines the therapeutic benefits of psychotherapy with the powerful effects of ketamine. Ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic, has been shown to offer rapid relief from symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health challenges. In a safe, controlled environment, and in conjunction with Preparatory and Integration sessions Ketamine is used to facilitate deep psychological healing and personal growth.
-
How KAP Works:
In KAP, low doses of ketamine are administered to enhance the therapeutic process. Ketamine can help break down mental barriers and allow access to emotions, memories, and insights that may be difficult to reach through traditional talk therapy. This altered state can lead to a heightened sense of connection, creativity, and openness to new perspectives. The therapy sessions are guided with care, ensuring you feel supported and safe throughout the experience.
Common Benefits of KAP:
Relief from treatment-resistant depression and anxiety
Reduction in PTSD symptoms
Enhanced emotional processing and insight
Increased openness to change and personal growth
A deep sense of inner healing and Self-connection
Spiritual growth and a deepened sense of interconnectedness to the universe, nature and other people
What to Expect:
This treatment involves a combination of 2-3 preparatory therapy sessions, the ketamine experience itself, and 1-3 integration sessions afterward. The therapeutic process is structured in this way in order to support you through every phase of the experience, from preparation to dosing to integration of the insights gained during your session.
To allow for a complete treatment, it is recommended that KAP be done through a series of dosing sessions rather than a single dose. If we determine that KAP is the right treatment for your needs, it is recommend that you plan for a minimum of 4-6 Ketamine dosing sessions for best results. These will typically take place within a 1-3 month period. At least 1 integration session will be required in- between each dosing. *The number of integration sessions may vary according to individual needs.*
The ketamine is administered orally, in the form of Lozenges. The dosage amount will vary by individual- this is something that we establish with our trusted collaborating Psychiatrists.
If you're seeking a breakthrough in your mental health journey, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy can offer a powerful, safe, and supportive path toward healing.
Ketamine & Psychedelic Preparation & Integration
Session Rates:
• 55 minutes — $200
• 90 minutes — $300
In these sessions, I offer a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space to support you in either preparing for an upcoming ketamine or psychedelic experience or integrating a past one.
Sessions are available virtually or in person and can be scheduled for 55 or 90 minutes, depending on your needs.

Psychedelic experiences hold the potential for deep insight, healing, and transformation — but these shifts do not happen automatically. Preparation and integration are essential bookends that help ensure your experience is truly supportive of your growth, rather than overwhelming or fragmented.
Preparation Sessions
Preparation work lays the foundation for a grounded and meaningful psychedelic experience. Together, we will:
Clarify your intentions and the healing goals guiding your journey
Strengthen emotional and nervous system readiness
Explore your mindset (set) and evaluate the planned environment, facilitators, and supports (setting) to ensure they align with your needs, goals, and values
Identify any psychological, emotional, or relational areas that may need additional tending before your experience
Develop personalized practices, tools, and boundaries to help you feel secure, open, and well-supported during your journey
Preparation is not just about feeling "ready" — it's about building the internal and external conditions that best support deep, sustainable transformation.
Integration Sessions
Integration is the process of weaving the insights, emotions, challenges, and visions from your journey into the fabric of your daily life. In integration sessions, we may:
Reflect on and make meaning of your experience in the context of your larger life path
Gently process difficult or confusing material that surfaced during the journey
Support emotional regulation and nervous system balance as you re-enter everyday life
Identify and anchor practices that help translate insight into action
Tend to any grief, disillusionment, or unexpected emotions that may arise
Support the gradual embodiment of new perspectives and patterns
Integration work is essential for turning a temporary state of insight into lasting change. It honors the reality that healing is a process — not a single event — and gives you the tools and relational support needed to walk your path with clarity, compassion, and strength.

FAQ

My work blends evidence-based psychotherapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. It draws from Western clinical science and Eastern meditation traditions, and it is anchored in deep respect for Indigenous and earth-based worldviews that emphasize our interconnectedness within the web of life. This integrative lens shapes how I understand symptoms and what supports true healing.
In addition to supporting you in healing trauma from the past, I take a systems perspective and explore how present-day symptoms can reflect nervous system responses to relational, environmental, and cultural stressors rather than individual pathology. Together, we identify what your system is communicating and develop new ways of relating, coping, and living that feel healthier and more sustainable for you.

If you’ve tried standard talk therapy or standalone ERP and still feel disconnected, burnt out, or unseen, you may be ready for an integrative approach like this one that is more holistic and treats the whole person.
-
I work with childhood and relational trauma, C-PTSD, anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, and other forms of nervous-system dysregulation.
The diagnostic system tends to divide these experiences into separate categories and labels, often leaving people with a long list of diagnoses that feel disconnected from one another, when in fact they are not. In practice, what we’re really addressing is how the nervous system has adapted to stress and trauma, and how to help it return to regulation, safety, and connection.
For ease of understanding, I’ve included on the Services page a list of diagnoses and conditions I have extensive training and experience in treating, though the deeper work always centers on restoring nervous-system balance and wholeness.

100%. This is something I am deeply passionate about. Both my clinical work and personal experience have made it abundantly clear that viewing mental health solely through an individual lens, without considering the social, cultural, and systemic contexts in which people live, is not only shortsighted but can be harmful.
Before becoming a therapist, I studied Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a focus on workplace diversity and equity under the mentorship of Dr. Kecia M. Thomas. That foundation continues to inform how I understand power, privilege, and systemic stress in the healing process.
I have also spoken about these topics on various social media platforms, on the podcast I co-hosted with my sister, Pretty Mental (still available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts), and in my blog, where I explore the intersections of mental health, culture, and systemic context.

This is primarily an independent practice, and we do not bill insurance directly. Some clients may receive partial reimbursement by submitting a superbill to their insurer.
At this time, Paula reserves a limited number of session slots for Aetna clients, which are billed through a third-party service.
If you feel called to begin this work, you’re invited to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation. Together we can get a sense of what kind of support you’re needing right now and whether working together feels like a good fit.
